Through the Eyes of a Native Hawaiian

Because you essentially become a “part of our ohana” you will also be an “insider” and actively participate in family traditions and quickly improve your English language skills! We are a safe learning environment; you will try out new words and practice local language, slang, and idioms. As a matter-of-fact, we are your built-in support system. We also provide our guests the opportunity to gain firsthand what it’s like to be a local as they discover what makes our island so unique while being committed to your studies. Meanwhile, get outdoors and feel the ‘aina and become deeply rooted in our Native Hawaiian cultural values, beliefs, history, and the practice of traditional music and arts of Hawaii. We are passionate about all things Hawaii and enjoy sharing this alternate experience with a little more effort than it takes to find the straw in that umbrella drink. What’s most important to YOU?
